Terms and Conditions *

• We provide the opportunity for students/guests to participate in making their own dishes for consumption, as well as providing matching wines/drinks (sounds great, hey?)

• We accept credit card only as the method of payment, as all classes must be booked through our website (just helps us keep track of who is coming), unless you have booked a private class, in which case you will be invoiced.

  • Our classes must run on a minimum of 4 people. If we do not reach 4 people, we reserve the right to postpone the class, and you will be offered a refund or credit, as well as the first option for booking into the next class.

• Cancellations for PUBLIC class: We offer credits or refunds in certain circumstances; if you choose to cancel, we require 7 days’ notice for a credit to use at another class (you can also gift your space). If you cancel within 7 days, there will be a 50% cancellation fee and if you cancel within 3 days, a 100% cancellation fee applies. If Carnation Kitchen have to cancel the class for unforeseen reasons, you will receive a full refund or credit at your discretion.

  • Cancellations for PRIVATE class: Full payment required within 14 days of confirmation, with a $20 per person non-refundable portion as this day has been blocked out for your private class. Class must run on minimum 6 people. If the class is cancelled by your group within 7 days, a $50 per person cancellation fee applies.

• If you are unhappy with our service, please provide feedback in writing to info@carnationkitchen.com.au (you won’t be)

• Any ill effect from participating in the class, including but not limited to food poisoning, injury, intoxication, sickness, or allergic reaction shall not be the fault or responsibility of Carnation Kitchen. You expressly and voluntarily assume any risk related to the consumption/preparation of food or drink during the class you will be participating in, and if you choose to take leftovers home, no responsibility will be taken by Carnation Kitchen once you and the food leave the premises

• During the class you will act responsibly and respectfully and use reasonable care, and no responsibility will be taken for crossing streets, parking, slipping or falling at the property, injuries sustained during preparation process such as burns, cuts etc

• The refusal of sale or service to people who are intoxicated is a requirement of law. Section 79 of The Liquor Act 1990 states “a person must not supply liquor to a person who is intoxicated”. Anyone supplying alcohol to an intoxicated person can be fined up to 50 penalty units ($8 400).

As we are a home based business, please treat the home as if it were yours.
