Carnation Kitchen has closed for now and we will no longer be running cooking classes.

We’re going to be doing something else shortly - so watch this space!

We also love wine and talk travel.

Mary, Indonesian 101

“Thanks so much to you and Kate! A very enjoyable afternoon with lovely people and incredible food. Indonesian flavours are a wonderful discovery. One of my favourite things about this class is that I can definitely see myself trying out all the recipes at home. I’m looking forward to trying Japanese cooking next year.”

We inspire, educate, and connect people with diverse, interesting, and realistic cooking and flavours.

Carnation Kitchen invites you to take part in the quintessential cooking class.

Participate (as little or as much as you would like) in making the dishes we will feast on later. Perhaps pick up a new skill, meet likeminded people, and simply have fun at our bespoke classes.

We showcase complimentary tastings of aromatic Tasmanian wines to highlight the different spices. The wines are handpicked by us, as Level 1 WSET certified in Food and Wine Pairing.

We also offer delightful non-alcoholic options, including tea and coffee.

In the spirit of reconciliation Carnation Kitchen acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
